Wednesday on Friday. If you are entering the weekend feeling down because it’s raining, this letter contains a recommendation to cry and a story about ghosts that respond to music.

The rain is hitting the window. What do you do?

Some people believe it is the best time to turn on the TV and binge-watch the series. Other people prefer to make tea, chocolate, or coffee. (I am one of the latter, but because the weather doesn’t matter, I’m always drinking coffee.) There are crazy people who go out to get wet. To me, it seems like an excellent time to be nostalgic and a little sad, to dare to cry.

As you can see, I’ve been up to my neck at work, but I really wanted to send this newsletter — even if it was on Friday. Today is Wednesday on Friday. In this nostalgic menu, there is a book 📕, a recommendation to make you cry 💡, a song 🎶 and a story 🖋️.

A book 📕

“I feel something I don’t know how to define.” If you’ve felt this like me, don’t worry. A word in another language explains what’s going on in your heart or brain chemistry.

Courtesy of my favorite Spanish publisher, Tiffany Watt Smith’s The Book of Human Emotions explains itself. It has excellent references to unknown emotions and very good essays on well-known ones.
